About a 1000 people have attended the Mighty Families Conference just outside of Bloemfontein at the Wilde Als farm.
| Chairman of the organising committee, Arno van Niekerk, says due to the cold weather, not as many people as they were expecting showed up at the event. Van Niekerk, however, says this will be an annual event and they are expecting many more people to attend next year. This conference is the first Mighty Families Conference held in Bloemfontein. He says they also want to expand to other provinces across the country. “It’s the very first event, held where the It’s time event was. This is a brand new initiative in the nation. We are just so excited, we have seen healings. A deaf person has received hearing while praying for him, and many other medical healings,” says Van Niekerk. Various speakers, as well as artists, are performing at the conference. The Mighty Families Conference, which is an event for the whole family, creates an opportunity for families as well as marriages to be united. The event started on Friday, and ends today. OFM News |
