Facebook messages of shocking disbelief received, after the shooting incident that claimed the lives of father and son at the Van Heerden residence in Stilfontein on Sunday.
The events that led to the double death in the family are still not clear and the family is asking people not to speculate about what happened. The family's spokesperson, Nicolize van der Walt, told OFM News that the relatives have so many questions regarding the incident and are awaiting police reports to confirm what actually happened on the tragic afternoon for the much needed answers.
OFM News was told by the North West police spokesperson, Adele Myburgh, that the investigation will continue and that she cannot tell for sure when the forensic report will be available to share with the family.
The family's main focus is to bury a father and a son, this coming Saturday.
