Political couple drugged, robbed─── JOSCA HUMAN 13:39 Thu, 19 Jul 2018
Two Bloemfontein Politicians were robbed inside their home Wednesday night.
The distraught members of Freedom Front Plus, Wouter - and Tammy Wessels are wary of a possible syndicate targeting food and service delivery companies to purse their heinous deeds.
The couple tells OFM News that they believed they were drugged. Tammy says shortly after the couple ate dinner, she complained of a foreign smell inside the house.
Before they could figure out what they foreign smell was- the couple lost consciousness. She says they woke up a few hours later, to come to the realisation that their belongings were missing.
Wouter says that their house was invaded and their personal belongings such, laptops, cell phones and iPads were stolen.
The couple says they called the police on a landline minutes after waking up. Wouter says they managed to track down some of the phones, with the help of a flying squad, and Tammy's father who used his iPhone tracking app.
The police could not make any arrests, and therefore are still searching for the suspects.
Tammy says they went back to the scene in Raymond Mhlaba Street in Bloemfontein where they found some of their other belongings such as her hand bag in a open field Thursday morning.
Wessels tells OFM News they are still waiting for the police to take finger prints.
