Three killed in #NW head-on car crash─── 05:46 Mon, 17 Sep 2018
Three people were killed and one person was seriously injured when two cars collided head-on on Bleskop Road near Photshaneng in Rustenburg in the North West, say paramedics.
Shortly before 6am, paramedics from ER24, local fire and rescue services, and other emergency services arrived on the scene where they found the two cars wrecked, said ER24 spokesperson, Werner Vermaak.
"One of the vehicles was lying on its roof in the road. Two people were found with fatal injuries and declared dead. A third person was resuscitated; however, despite the efforts of paramedics they were unable to revive him and he was later declared dead on the scene."
A fourth person sustained serious injuries in Sunday's crash, and was rushed to a nearby hospital by an emergency service on the scene. The circumstances surrounding the collision were not yet known, said Vermaak.
