The Mangaung Metro Municipality's power distributor Centlec has assured residents affected by power loss in various areas in Bloemfontein, that power will be restored within the next two hours.
Centlec spokesperson, Lele Mamatu, says the loss of power is due to a transformer that tripped in the Bayswater area.
He says this has affected areas such as Navalpark, Dan Pienaar, Noordstad, Estoire, Tibbie Visser and Maselspoort.
Mamatu adds that the estimated restoration power to these areas is two hours.
Meanwhile, on Friday OFM News reported that residents of the northern suburbs in Bloemfontein were set to experience a water supply interruption.
