The VBS heist trial date has been set for 12 October in the Pretoria High Court.
Fourteen suspects accused of looting R2-billion from VBS Mutual Bank appeared in court on Monday.
They include top Limpopo ANC officials.
The accused face 188 charges of theft, fraud, money laundering, corruption and racketeering.
