Harrismith residents without water due to vandalism─── 11:33 Thu, 05 Aug 2021
As of today, residents and businesses in the greater Harrismith in the Free State will be without water for a couple of days.
This is as a result of the vandalisation of the main substation in Harrismith.
According to the Maluti-A-Phofung Water's (MAP Water) spokesperson, Tebogo Kwakwa, this makes them unable to pump water to the residents.
She told OFM News that water will only be restored after maintenance is completed.
The affected areas include Harrismith, Wilgepark, Kingshill, Bergsig, Lotusville, Complex, and Intabazwe.
She apologised for the inconvenience caused.
