Unlike the Bulls, the Peacock Blues will be carrying loads of confidence into the Currie Cup season after an impressive showing in the Supersport Rugby Challenge where they reached the final of the competition.

Unfortunately for Engledow's men, their final opponents, Western Province, proved to be to strong, beating the Griquas 28-19 on a jam packed Florida Park in the Cape Town suburb of Ravensmead and in so doing maintaining a unbeaten record for the first ever edition of the competition.

Speaking to OFM Sport, Engledow said that he will not look into the Bulls Super Rugby form to much as he has never known the Pretoria based side to just lay down. He added that the men in blue will have a point to prove and that his side will need to be awake to the threat the Bulls could pose in what is sure to be a tough as nails opening match.

Spectators are reminded that kick-off time for this clash at Tafel Lager Park in Kimberley has been moved from 14:30 to 19:30 on Saturday evening.
