Rosco Specman - Pro14

The Springbok flank, Oupa Mohoje, makes his return to rugby on Friday night when the Toyota Cheetahs host Leinster in the Guinness Pro14.

Mohoje has recovered sufficiently from the rib injury he sustained against the Sharks during the Currie Cup earlier this morning.

The coach Rory Duncan has opted to retain Sergeal Petersen at fullback for the match, while Cecil Afrika and Clayton Blommetjies have been released to represent the Free State Cheetahs in the Currie Cup against the Pumas.

This also sees the return of the Blitzbok speedster, Rosco Specman, on the wing.

Duncan told OFM Sport that last week’s win over Zebre was very important.

“It was very important, we wanted to get on the board in our campaign and get a win under the belt.

“For the players’ confidence as well it obviously is important to be moving forward.

“We’ve got a run of four home games in a row and we want to have good performance on our home soil, and this win was the start of that.”

Tomorrow evening’s match at the Toyota Stadium kicks off at 20:00 after the Currie Cup fixture between the Toyota Free State Cheetahs and the Pumas, which kicks off at 17:30.
