The Toyota Cheetahs fullback, Clayton Blommetjies, has been declared fit and will run out against the Ospreys in the Guinness Pro14 on Saturday evening.

Blommetjies rolled his ankle during training in the week and was doubtful for the game.

This means that no changes have been made to the backline.

Upfront, Aranos Coetzee, starts at tighthead in the place of the injured Luan de Bruin, while Erich de Jager has been drafted onto the bench as cover.

Charles Marais starts once again at loosehead prop, with Ox Nche on the bench to provide cover.

The back-row sees a change with Oupa Mohoje making way in the starting XV for Tier Schoeman.

The only other change to the bench sees Rynier Bernardo regaining the number 19 jersey, while Carl Wegener drops out of the match 23.

The Cheetahs are really well positioned for a home play-off and possibly even a home knockout game. The coach, Rory Duncan, says it all starts this weekend in Swansea and a win is non-negotiable.

“With three home games left, a tour to the Dragons and an away game to the Southern Kings, I think we are positioned really well to be able to fight for that play-off position.

“Obviously pushing really hard. We would still like to believe that we are in a position to get a home play-off, but first things first, this weekends’ game is a really important one for us.

“Regardless of the team that the Ospreys put out, we’ve experienced that all teams that we play here are territorial and obviously like to push for their home wins.

“We are going to have a tough battle on our hands this weekend, but I believe that the conditions are going to allow us to play our game.”

Saturday evening's game at the Liberty Stadium kicks off at 19:30. This game will not be televised and can be followed live on Twitter, using the handle @OFMSport and also via the Cheetahs social media.
