As the final round robin stage of the SuperSport Rugby Challenge dawns, the road to possible glory is still long and hard for the Griquas who face the Griffons tomorrow.
The Griquas currently top the Central division log of the competition but could still be relegated to 2nd should they stumble against the Griffons and the Free State XV overcome the Sharks XV.
While securing top spot on the Central Division log is of massive importance for Peacock Blues coach Peter Engeldow told OFM Sport that he remains focused on the job at hand.
"Overall they (Griffons) are a very difficult side to play against, and we are away to them in Welkom so we're very focused on this game."
"We understand the importance of finishing top and securing a home quarter final if possible, but we know it is not going to be easy so we have got to be focused and work on our performance," Engeldow told OFM Sport.
The Griffons and Griquas face off at the HT Pelatona Projects Stadium in Welkom with kick-off scheduled for 15:00.
