The Blitzboks will have no room for error when they get their Rugby World Cup 7’s campaign underway in San Francisco this coming weekend.

Neil Powell's side have automatically qualified for the tournament which means they get their charge for the Melrose Cup started with a knockout fixture against either Chile or Ireland.

In preparation for this, the World Rugby 7’s series Champions had a training session against the Argentine 7’s team, which Blitzboks stalwart Werner Kok says only does them good in terms on strengthening their chances.

"Its always a nice training session if you can train against a proper team and going into this weekend playing against Chile or Ireland we have to be on top of our game."

"I think the guys are looking sharp but there is still a few things that we can improve on especially in defense but i'm looking forward to the World Cup," Kok said.

While the tournaments first match will kick off at 22:00 on Friday evening in the AT&T Stadium, the Blitzboks will play their first match at 06:15 on Saturday morning.
