Following their 31-24 Rugby Championship victory over Argentina in Durban over the weekend, the Springboks pack their bags and fly out to South America on Monday for their away fixture against the Pumas in Mendoza.

Springbok coach Rassie Erasmus announced his squad to travel to Argentina on Sunday which reflected a number of omissions.

Three forwards namely Jean-Luc du Preez, Sikhumbuzo Notsheand Marvin Orie have been released from the side while Ross Cronje, Jesse Kriel and Lwazi Mvovo were among the back line players remaining in South Africa.

Speaking to the media after Saturday's win, Erasmus made mention of this coming weekend being a totally different challenge all together which could prompt some changes.

"We thought it was the best team with growth towards the world cup trying a few things that we could here at home, but going there I don't think we have the luxury of experimenting too much."

"We will play around a little bit with what we think they (Argentina) are going to throw at us. It is going to be a massive physical onslaught from their side," Erasmus said.

The coach is expected to name his team for Saturday's clash in Mendoza this Thursday.
