Parents cautioned against posting #FirstDayOfSchool pictures─── 08:44 Wed, 15 Jan 2020
Parents and guardians have been warned of taking pictures of their children and posting it on social media.
Various warnings are circulating on social media as well as precautionary advice being given. This as excited parents can unknowingly place their children in danger by posting pictures of their school uniform giving information of their schools and where they can be traced.
Parents and guardians are advised to turn off their geolocation and blur the school badge amongst other tips.

Parents and guardians have also been cautioned about the security of children as they go back to school. Parents are urged not to have their children’s names visible on parts of their bags or clothes.
