Bloemfontein Celtic are set to unveil their new head coach in this week.

The club has appointed the Serbian coach, Veselin Jelušic, on a two-year deal and started working with the team this morning.

Jelušic takes over from the Lehlohonolo Seema who has been coaching the side on an interim basis since October last year when Serame Letsoaka was fired.

Earlier this year the 57-year-old Belgium, Luc Eymael, was named as the new Celtic head coach, however, ongoing battles with the Premier Soccer League ended up in him being ordered back to Polokwane City.

Jelušic previously coached the national sides of Angola and Botswana.

Sello Nduna, the spokesman for the club confirmed to OFM Sport that the Serbian tactician has joined Phunya Sele Sele.

“He joined us late on Saturday and I can confirm that Jelušic is our new head coach.

“He has signed a two-year deal with the club, with an one-year renewal option.

“We are just waiting for the finalisation of his work permit."

Meanwhile, the 27-year-old Kenyan international midfielder, Victor Ali Abondo, is set for a transfer from Ajax Cape Town to Celtic.

His can be seen as a straight swap for the Lyle Lakay. The midfielder is linked with a  move to the Urban Warriors and put in a transfer request with Celtic last week.
