Dikwena aim to be ruthless against Celtic | News Article
Roger de Sa - Gallo

Platinum Stars coach Roger De Sa will be hoping his men become ruthless when they host Bloemfontein Celtic in a Premier Soccer League encounter at the Royal Bafokeng Sports Palace this coming Wednesday night.

Dikwena have not scored more than one goal in a match this season but De Sa wants his side to be more clinical hence they have been working hard at finishing during the international break.

“It’s not something you get better at after just 10 days. You continuously have to work on it. We have to improve on it. We will keep creating opportunities. As long as we keep creating you have got hope. If you stop creating you have bigger worries. It’s good that we have opportunities we need to polish and improve on that,” said De Sa.

Dikwena were knocked out of the Telkom Knockout by Celtic in match De Sa feels his men should have won. De Sa is confident that his charges can amass all maximum points provided their finishing is on point.

“We should have won that game and now we have a chance to redeem ourselves against the same opponents. If we play the same as we did last time and take our chances, I think that’s all we have to do to win the game. Hopefully we will do that. I hope we can take advantage of the chances we create and punish them for that. There’s something about this team. The players are motivating as well. They are a bunch of good guys. They want to perform and do the business,” said De Sa.

“Celtic have done exceptionally well. They have reached the final. They are definitely a form team. We going hope they are focused on the cup and we can catch them out. ”

During the break, De Sa has been working on individuals to get their game to a desirable level.

“We did quite a lot of individual work and now we are ready. I got to know the players even better now. We got to prepare and hopefully we can get back to our league form, which as three games without a loss. Hopefully we can build on that,” said De Sa.

Kick-off is at 19:30.
