The Premier Soccer League club, Bloemfontein Celtic, will want to build on the solid foundation set by Steve Komphela when they host Golden Arrows on Sunday afternoon.

Last month Komphela left Celtic in order to take over from Clinton Larsen at Golden Arrows.

Celtic are currently fifth in the standings following their 1-0 win over Chippa United which broke their four-match losing streak.

The Celtic interim coach, Lehlohonolo Seema, told OFM Sport that the Sunday’s game will be big.

“That is football hey, we are aging before our time,” said the legendary former Celtic captain.

“These are the kind of things you have to accept when you say that you want to be a coach.

“For us, this will be a big one, and I am sure that Steve will also like to see that if what he was doing by us was working.

“He has really built a very strong foundation here, so it’s going to be an interesting game and we are looking forward to it.

“We had a session at the Free State Sports Science Institute this morning (Monday), and we are going to have an afternoon training session as well.

“We are really preparing hard for this game, and hopefully it will be an enjoyable one, but it will be a tough one though.”

Sunday’s game at the Slaughterhouse kicks off at 15:30, while tomorrow night at 19:30 Maritzburg United host Free State Stars.
