McCarthy tipped for Bafana job─── MORGAN PIEK 15:01 Thu, 01 Apr 2021
The former Bafana Bafana striker, Benni McCarthy, has been tipped as the front-runner to be appointed as the new coach of the national team.
This as Molefi Ntseki was sacked on Wednesday due to Bafana failing to qualify for the Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
Other names that are being thrown around are that of the current Al-Ahly tactician, Pitso Mosimane, and the former Real Madrid coach, Carlos Queiroz.
Queiroz previously coached Bafana from 2000 to 2002 and is still one of the most successful to date.
The process of finding a successor for Molefi will begin next week.
