The Soweto giants, Orlando Pirates, are expecting nothing less than a tough day at the office when they face Mamelodi Sundowns on Thursday in the quarter-finals of the Nedbank Cup.
Sundowns are the reigning champions, while they have shown good form in the Premier Soccer League and CAF Champions League throughout the season.
The Buccaneers coach, Josef Zinnbauer, says they will get to measure themselves against one of the best teams on the continent.
“We are here to win the game. If you lose you're out, if you win you have fun.
“We have nothing to lose, and Sundowns is the favourite in this game.
“At the moment Sundowns have the best team in the league and one of the best in the Champions League.
“It will be good for us and for me to see what happens in this game.”
Thursday evening’s quarter-final at Loftus Versfeld kicks off at 18:00.
The winner of this match will get to face Tshakhuma FC in the semi-finals on Sunday.
