The Springbok coach, Jacques Nienaber, and his team made a turn in Bloemfontein today where they spent time with the Toyota Cheetahs.
Nienaber told SuperSport that it is important to engage with these players ahead of their first Test since the 2019 Rugby World Cup final.
“It's almost a reality check for where we are as a team. The reality check is not just for the players, but it is for the management as well.
“That almost focuses us on what areas we have to improve.
“If we look where we were in 2019 and where we are now in 2021.
“When the players leave here they have to have a great understanding as to how they are going to make the team and the squad.”
The Cheetahs centre, Frans Steyn, and winger, Rosko Specman, say believed to be in the Boks plans.
