South Africa's Lloyd Harris has exited the Madrid Open in Spain after throwing in the towel during his 2nd round tie against Australia's Alex Di Minaur.
Di Minaur was well in control of the game when Harris withdrew during the second set.
The player from Down Under was leading the game 6-2, 3-0 at the time.
Harris was struggling with lower back issues during his 1st round game against Grigor Dimitrov and required on-court medical treatment.
Harris and Di Minaur met once before on the ATP Tour, with the South African winning that game 6-3, 6-7 and 7-6 in Tokyo.
