The Dolphins will face the Titans on Thursday in the semi-finals of the CSA T20 Knockout being played in Kimberley.

The Dolphins beat the Warriors by six wickets in the quarter-finals to advance to the last four.

The Warriors had a back first at the Diamond Oval and were restricted 127/9 in their 20 overs. The former Knights player, Diego Rossier, was the best batter for the Warriors with 51 off of 41 deliveries in a knock that included 5 fours and a six.

The Proteas seamer, Daryn Dupavillon was the pick of the bowlers after recording the best bowling figures of the tournament with 4/18 in his four overs.

The Dolphins chased down the runs with four balls to spare thanks to a 98-run partnership between Keegan Petersen and Jason Smith. 

Petersen, who is also a former Knights batter, scored an unbeaten 38, while Smith scoring the most runs in the match with 60 off of 41 balls. His innings included 3 fours and 3 sixes.

With figures of 2/18 in his allotted four overs, Glenton Stuurman, was the best bowler for the Warriors.

The Dolphins captain, Marques Ackerman, said they want to keep it simple for Thursday’s semi-final.

“It's nice that the games are on top of each other. It's a short turn-around with a bit of recovery and straight into things on Thursday morning.

“We are just going to keep things simple and play according to our strengths.

“Hopefully we can get on top of the Titans early and try are get into that final.”

The winner of Wednesday second quarter-final between the Rocks and North West Dragons will face the Itec Knights on Thursday afternoon in the semi-finals.
