Boston bombings suspect writing notes to officials:report─── 05:39 Mon, 22 Apr 2013
Boston - Nineteen-year-old accused Boston bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, who is unable to speak due to a gunshot wound to the neck, is writing notes to officials. CNN reports that federal prosecutors are preparing charges against the surviving suspect in the Boston Marathon bombings as authorities said they believed he and his brother, Tamerlan were allegedly preparing to carry out more attacks when their plans were disrupted. A Justice Department official said Dzhokhar will face federal terrorism charges and possibly state murder charges. He remains in a serious but stable condition with a gunshot wound to the side of the neck. It is unclear whether Tsarnaev was wounded during his capture or an earlier shootout with police that left his older brother dead.
