The English Lions have won their five-match unofficial One-Day International series against South Africa A after hammering the home side by 89 runs in the 4th match in Mamelodi.
All-rounder, Ben Stokes smashed 15 sixes and 7 fours as his blasted his way to 151 not out during the sides’ innings of 378 for 6.
Stokes, needed just 117 deliveries to help steer his side to another massive total, while South African-born Jason Roy continued his good form in the series with a knock of 67.
Dean Elgar was South Africa’s top batsman during the run chase, with a knock of 79 as the team were bowled out for 287.
The test batsman said a regular loss of wickets once again put them under pressure during the chase.
England take an unassailable 3-0 lead into Thursday’s fifth and final match at Willowmoore Park in Benoni.
