Cricket South Africa will unveil their new technical apparel sponsor in Johannesburg tonight on the eve of their annual awards function.
CSA’s deal with Adidas came to an end at the conclusion of the recent ICC Cricket World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.
The Boston-based New Balance will take over kitting the Proteas and another national teams for the new few years.
It’s also thought that former Proteas seamer, Charl Langeveldt, could be announced as the side's new bowling coach today.
Meanwhile, the Sports’ governing body are gearing up for its award banquet which could see Proteas One-Day International captain AB de Villiers set to be the big winner.
De Villiers has been nominated in the South African Cricketer of the Year category along with Hashim Amla, Faf du Plessis, Morné Morkel and Dale Steyn.
His is also up for the ODI Cricketer of the Year award, with the other nominee being Hashim Amla, Morné Morkel and Imran Tahir.
The Test Cricket of the year Award will be contested by Dean Elgar, Hashim Amla and Dale Steyn.
Tomorrow evening’s event takes place at Gallagher Estate in Midrand.
