Midrand - Trade and Industry Minister Rob Davies says he will put up a fight against a French Company which is trying to trademark the word Rooibos as their own.
The herbal tea leaves are unique to South Africa and Davies says the country’s indigenous knowledge should be protected.
Davies was speaking at the Intellectual property forum in Midrand.
