Tens of thousands expected to march─── 16:21 Tue, 06 Oct 2015
Johannesburg - Trade union federation Cosatu says it's expecting tens of thousands of workers to join the national strike Wednesday which coincides with World Day For Decent Work.
Cosatu has called the strike to highlight a wide-range of issues but primarily the focus will be on job losses.
National spokesperson, Sizwe Pamla, says Cosatu wants an urgent special summit to be called in a bid to stem the tide.
Other social issues include proper road infrastructure and public transport and the state of public health.
