Bullying investigated at Vaal schools─── 07:35 Sat, 11 Sep 2021
The Gauteng Department of Education is investing bullying at Die Anker High School in Vanderbiljpark in the Vaal.
This follows after the EFF Student Command in the Sedibeng region protested outside said school on Wednesday, calling for the removal of the school's principal, citing his failure to end incidents of bullying at the school.
In one recent incident, a learner reportedly lost his front teeth after he was attacked by four other learners.
Meanwhile, in a separate incident, the Gauteng MEC for Education - Panyaza Lesufi - conveyed his condolences to the family of a grade 9 learner from Alexandra High School, who passed away after he was allegedly stabbed to death by another learner.
