On Wednesday morning Cricket Australia confirmed their summer schedule and this will include a three-Test series against South Africa down-under.

The test series will be taking place in November with matches in Perth, Hobart and Adelaide.

There has been talk of one of the Tests being a day-night test, however, South Africa are opposed to playing in the longest format of the game under lights.

Initially the Gabba in Brisbane was earmarked for the so-called Pink Ball test, which would have only been the second ever.

South Africa are opposed to the match due to their lack of experience with the pink ball, however, Australia indicated they continue their efforts to convince the Proteas.

The first test will be played from 3 November at the WACA in Perth.

The second will see South Africa playing a test in Tasmania for the first time when they lock horns from 12 November at the Blundstone Arena in Hobart, while the beautiful Adelaide Oval will be the venue for the third and final Test as from 24 November.
