The Northern Cape Heat will welcome some valuable experience in their squad with the addition of a former Protea to their roster for the upcoming domestic season.
The Northern Cape Heat have signed another new player ahead of the 2022/25 domestic season.
The former Proteas seamer, Hardus Viljoen, will be joining the team in Kimberley from the Paarl Rocks.
Viljoen who has previously played for the Lions, Titans and Easterns as well as he brings a wealth of experience after taking 496 first-class wickets.
He played in one Test for South Africa against England in 2016, and he is also the brother-in-law of the former Proteas captain, Faf du Plessis.

The Heat has lost a few players to other teams and they include Johan van Dyk (Knights), Hanu Viljoen (Dolphins), Grant Thomson (Eastern Storm), Chris Britz (Eastern Storm) and Jason Oakes (Tuskers).
