NC Premier speaks on MEC's passing─── CATHY DLODLO 11:49 Fri, 28 Aug 2015
Kimberley - A very emotional Northern Cape Premier Sylvia Lucas addressed the media shortly after she arrived in Kimberley this morning on the passing away of provincial education MEC Grizelda Cjiekella-Lecholo.
Lucas was in Upington when she received the news at around midnight last night that the MEC passed away at a hospital in Kimberley.
Lucas said Cjiekella-Lecholo's passing comes at a time when the country is celebrating women’s month. She says Cjiekella-Lecholo was one of the greatest ambassadors for women’s rights.
