FS police still looking for murdered woman’s life partner─── DANE BEISHEIM 17:39 Mon, 07 Nov 2016
Kroonstad - Free State police are still looking for the life partner of Martie Jordaan from Kroonstad.
Jordaan's body was found at her home last Friday. She had been buried in a shallow grave behind an outbuilding. An autopsy was to be performed today to determine the cause of death.
A garden fork was found on the scene. Police spokesperson, Stephen Thakeng, says police are still searching for Andrew Michaels. He and Jordaan have lived together for the past eight years. He has been missing for a week. Thakeng says police believe Michaels can assist them with the investigation.
“That is why we are appealing to anyone with information to contact the nearest police station, or our detective in Kroonstad, Captain Sydelle Neuhoff,” Thakeng added.
