North West Premier, Supra Mahumapelo, might be in hot water regarding another irregular tender procurement scandal.
This, as the Hawks are raiding his office this morning. His spokesperson, Brian Setswambung, told OFM News the Hawks have presented them with a search warrant relating to an ICT company, NEPO Data Dynamics.
It is alleged that the provincial government has made a payment of more than R100 million to the company to assist with the government’s IT systems, contravening supply chain requirements.
The raids at Mahumapelo’s offices comes soon after Parliament’s Portfolio Committee on Health, and Health Minister Aaron Motsoaledi lambasted the province for millions allegedly spent by the provincial health department on the controversial Gupta-linked company, Mediosa.
