Bloemfontein - Free State Education MEC’s son, Pule Makgoe junior, performed extremely well with six distinctions in the 2016 National Senior Certificate (NSC) exams.
Acting Free State Premier, Elzabe Rockman, congratulated Makgoe Jnr. at the Well Done Function honouring the province’s top 100 achievers at the Central University of Technology (CUT) in Bloemfontein on Thursday.

The young Makgoe was also a leader in his own right, having been a prefect with half colours in academics in his final year at Grey College.
The Free State returned to top the class of 2016 matric results with a 93.2% pass rate after leading the pack three years ago.
