The Free State will be led by the senior national women’s player, Taheera Augousti, of Eunice while her co-captain is Germarie Spershott of Oranje.

Free State will some good momentum into the final following a 1-0 win over Western Province yesterday. Boland in turn dispatched KZN Inland with a 3-1 win.

Free State won five on their six matches heading into the final, with one game ending in a goalless draw. This was against the very same Boland.

Boland in turn are also unbeaten at the IPT with four wins, while they played to a goalless stalemate against Southern Gauteng B as well.

This final at the Varsity astros will get underway at 11:50. This will be followed by the boy’s final between Southern Gauteng and Western Province at 13:15.
