A 96-year old woman and her gardener have been found dead in her house in Klerksdorp, Northwest. Police spokesperson, Amanda Funani says Elizabeth Louw's body and that of her gardener, Gert Marks, were found yesterday at around 12:20. According to Funani, Louw's sister became worried when her calls to Louw went unanswered and she asked a friend to go to Louw's house. The perpetrators fled the scene with Louw's jewellery and an undisclosed amount of money. No one has yet been arrested. North West Premier Thandi Modise has strongly condemned the murders.
