Hoedspruit - The search continues for a Polish professor who went missing on Mariepskop mountain, near Hoedspruit.
Mpumalanga police spokesperson Leonard Hlathi says police from Limpopo and Mpumalanga, including a K9 and mounted unit, have been searching for Dr Pawel Jaloszynski since he went missing on Sunday. A helicopter has also been circling the area in search of the missing man.
The 37-year-old entomologist and three colleagues were doing research on insects on the mountain when he disappeared.
Jaloszynski sent an sms to his colleagues late Sunday afternoon that he was lost. They have not heard from him since. \
The Mariepskop mountain is the highest peak in the northern Drakensberg escarpment.
