Bloemfontein - Springbok coach Heyneke Meyer says he still has a lot of confidence in Morné Steyn.
The Bulls flyhalf has regained his form after a woeful season last year.
Yesterday Meyer named Steyn in the starting fifteen to face Italy in Durban this weekend.
Meyer also named two new caps in the lineup, with Bulls scrumhalf Jano Vermaak earning his first cap after being involved with the Springbok setup during their recent tours.
Willie Le Roux of the Cheetahs has been named to start at fullback. Meyer said it would have been dumb not to include Le Roux, who he considers to be the form player of the 2013 Super Rugby.
Meyer went on to say Steyn deserves his place in the Springboks starting lineup…
