Bloemfontein - The Springbok management have confirmed that fiery hooker Bismarck du Plessis has returned to full fitness and could possibly be included on the bench when the team to play Scotland gets announced later today.
Du Plessis hasn’t played any high level rugby since injuring his knee against Argentina at Newlands last year during the Rugby Championship.
Furthermore Bath captain François Louw has been released from the Springbok squad for this weekend’s upcoming match in order to get married on Sunday.
This leaves the possibility of Sharks flanker Marcell Coetzee being promoted to starting lineup with either Siya Kolisi or Lappies Labuschagné coming onto the bench.
Stormers scrumhalf Louis Schreuder has been called-up to the Bok squad after the withdrawal of injured Francois Hougaard.
Cheetahs scrumhalf Piet van Zyl could find himself in the match day 23, with former Cheetah Ruan Pienaar starting in the number 9 jumper
