Bloemfontein - The under-19 Leopards rugby players are undergoing counselling following the death of talented loosehead prop Kwena Collins Moremi in a drowning incident in East London at the weekend.
Leopards President Andre May says the other players, who were in the group that was swept out to sea and tried to help Moremi, were hardest hit.
He says despite attempts to charter a flight to bring the team home to Potchefstroom earlier they were only able to do so on Saturday evening.
May says the post mortem is expected to be completed today where after Moremi’s body will be returned to North West during the week.
He says a funeral is likely to be held in Limpopo at the weekend.
