Bloemfontein - The names of two Bloemfontein police constables, whose bodies were found in a car in the parking area of the Park Road police station yesterday, have been released.
Twenty-eight year old Sipho Mbelekane and 24-year old Kefuoe Phohlela were found with gunshot wounds to the head.
Grace Langa, spokesperson for the Independent Police Investigative Directorate, says it is believed the constables were in a relationship and that Mbelekane shot Phohlela before turning the gun on himself.
Langa says the families of both constables have been informed of their deaths.

Mbelekane was working at Park Road police station's crime prevention section while Phohlela was stationed at the charge office.
