Kroonstad - The task team investigating infighting at the Moqhaka municipality will complete their investigation by the end of the month.
Service delivery at the municipality came to a standstill two weeks ago, with municipal employees refusing to work in protest against the municipal manager.
Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs (COGTA) HOD, Victor Duma says a report containing recommendations will be given to COGTA MEC Olly Mlamleli, which will then be submitted to the council.
He disgruntled employees were warned that legal action would be taken if they illegally protest or refuse to return to work.
Duma says the task team comprises three forensic audit officials, a Department of Treasury representative and a legal services and municipality support director.

The three-day strike ended after an agreement was reached that a forensic audit will be conducted.
