Confusion over closed council meeting in Brits─── DANE DANE 13:20 Mon, 10 Feb 2014

Potchefstroom - There seems to be some confusion as to whether North West Premier Thandi Modise will be attending a closed council meeting followed by a media briefing in Brits this afternoon.
Modise is scheduled to provide feedback on a probe into the Madibeng Municipality’s performance, following claims of maladministration.
Councillor Sidney Lethlabile said on Facebook earlier today that the meeting was postponed until tomorrow. This was refuted by the premier’s spokesperson Lesiba Kgwele.
Madibeng has been in the news of late due to water shortages which saw violence break out in the Majakaneng settlement.
Modise has since said R2 billion has been set aside for a water project implementation plan to address water challenges across the province.
