SABC decision to air DA adverts 'cautiously welcomed'─── 15:30 Thu, 17 Apr 2014
Pretoria - The SABC's confirmation that it will flight the DA's six election adverts while ICASA hearings into the broadcaster's decision to pull them off the air are finalised - has been cautiously welcomed by the Freedom of Expression Institute (FXI).
The FXI says it is however concerned that the matter has not yet been settled once and for all.
The case was postponed indefinitely last night, after the SABC hired a new legal team which will decide whether or not to pursue the matter further.
