Authorities out in force on major routes

Authorities will be out in full force this Easter weekend to ensure road safety compliance.
 
High traffic volumes are expected on major routes as many travellers make their way to church and holiday destinations.
 
Acting Chief Executive Officer of Government Communications Harold Maloka says government has instructed all law enforcement agencies to maintain high visibility and act against anyone transgressing the law.
 
Earlier ten people were killed when a taxi collided with a truck near Bethlehem in the Eastern Free State.
 
This morning on the N3 one-thousand-200 vehicles were moving southbound at the Tugela plaza, 1400 at Wilge and 1500 at De Hoek.
