Oscar trial: 'Foreign forensic experts unlikely called'─── 12:08 Tue, 22 Apr 2014
Pretoria - A legal expert believes it's unlikely that Oscar Pistorius's defence team will call foreign forensic experts to testify in the paralympian's murder trial.
The case has adjourned for two weeks to allow the defence and prosecution teams to analyse the over 2000 page long court record, among other things.
Last week defence witness Roger Dixon contradicted Pistorius's version of events over where a magazine rack in the toilet cubicle, where Reeva Steenkamp was killed, was positioned.
UKZN's Jackie De Wet says foreign experts are more likely to cause even more contradiction in the case due to how they apply the law.
The case resumes in the North Gauteng High Court on May 5.
