Bloemfontein - A Bloemfontein man, who has previously been convicted of raping minors, will appear in court today on two fresh counts of raping primary school girls.
Free State police spokesperson, Sinah Mpakane, says the 23-year-old accused was out on bail, facing an assault charge, when the alleged incidents occurred.
The girls, aged six and 11, were allegedly taken to South Park cemetery, where the crimes took place on 25 March and 8 April respectively.
Mpakane says it is not clear why the man was not serving a prison sentence, as he was convicted in 2012 in a case involving three victims under 11 years of age.
