Bloemfontein - Toyota Cheetahs captain, Adriaan Strauss, and Junior Boks captain, Handré Pollard of the Bulls, have linked up with the Springboks in Port Elizabeth.
The pair comes into the side after Strauss served a three-week suspension for a dangerous tackle on Kobus van Wyk of the Stormers during the Super Rugby.
Pollard in his turn has just returned from the IRB Junior World Championships in New Zealand after the Baby Boks lost 21-20 to England in Friday’s final in Auckland.
The duo will bolster the side for the test against the Scottish, after the overseas based players were released to return to their clubs.
Both the Boks and the Scottish touched down in the Friendly City on the same flight, with the visitors making the trip across the Atlantic Ocean from Argentina.
The Scottish beat the Pumas 21-19 on Friday, while the South Africans' themselves looked reasonably fresh following their gruelling 31-30 win over Wales in Nelspruit.
Saturday’s test at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium kicks off at 17:05.
