Greeks have two options - Roodt─── OWEN KOCK 13:08 Wed, 08 Jul 2015
Bloemfontein - The Greek Government has two options if they are to survive as a country, but this won't be an easy task.
This is the word from economist Dawie Roodt, saying the reality is that the banks are in trouble as they have no money.
He says they can obtain money from two sources - the first being Greeks depositing money into the bank. The second source for funding would be the European Central Bank, which has indicated they are prepared to fund the banks but with specific conditions.
Meanwhile CNN has just reported that Greece has formally applied for a third bailout from Europe's financial rescue fund.
