Denmark’s Morten Orum Madsen and the England’s David Horsey share the lead after the opening round of the Tshwane Open on seven under par.
Madsen who teed-off from the 10th was the talk of the opening round after firing a hole-in-one and an eagle in his
final two holes to score 4 under to finish his round.
Following his superb final two holes, Madsen said he felt his was going to score his second hole-in-one on the European Tour sooner rather than later.
South Africa’s Wallie Coetzee and Australia’s Brett Rumford are in tied third on six under par, while Bloemfontein’s Dean Burmester in tied fifth on five under par with compatriots Keith Horne, and Merrick Bremner.
